We decided
against the long coach trip to Berlin (a 12 hour day) and
instead decided to look around the local seaside town
AND A SHORT
WALK TOOK US INTO WARNEMUNDE ...
PRETTY
PLACE WITH A BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER
The
local school kids
were
celebrating end of Term !
and
walking around the pretty houses and shops was a real pleasure
It was
warm, and slightly drizzling only;
and the
place was very pretty and relaxing
Back at
the ship we had our meal overlooking the dock - crowds
gathered on this Friday night to watch the ships departing -
Later
on we went on deck to watch the ship sail; it was a festival
atmosphere and lots of people waving, laughing and taking photos of
us taking photos
A fantastic end to a thoroughly good
day in Germany ...
We are now homeward bound for
Newcastle on Tyne
