down the lane ...
...this is me, Sophie, deciding what to do next. I am in our garden and deciding if I should go for a stroll around ! Sophie sadly died of old age in the spring of 2007. She lived out her life at the Sanctuary where she loved life and had a wonderful and fulfilling one. Here is her story ... and some of her own tails in her own words ... "I live in Bennettland Lane in Gilberdyke, with my family. I was willed to the
Jerry Green Trust for the rest of my life,
and the manageress, Angela, 'took me on' - and I love her very much ...xxx
shhh! she's right behind me ! "
In the Summer (2006) we had a lot of fun - apart from our annual Open Day at the Sanctuary bash - one of our friends called Andrew organised a 'sponsored walk' thingy - you trundle up and down the lane and people give you money and tea and biscuits ! It's great. anyway, back to Andrew; he got all his pals to join in and my mum Angela and her team provided the tea and bix and they raised £1,600 for us to look after the dogs in our care, her at Jerry Green Foundation Trust at Gilberdyke in East Yorkshire (have a look at our pages on www.jerrygreen.org.uk ) THANK YOU ANDREW To see all the fun click on Angela's Articles 2006 By the way, for teaching dogs old and new how to behave I also recommend
