Linda says ... |

Last week I got in contact with a lady who has a
lonely female Amazon parrot, |
and we decided to share our birds in the future
to see if they can make friends. |
So my Jacko moved in there a week ago ...
and tomorrow I will collect them andwill
keep them here in Humlekärr for a while.

The other parrot named Albina has lived with her
family for 20 years - but has not seen another
parrot
in 32years!!!
But we don´t know yet if they will be
good friends

and
therefore they still are placed in their own
cages,
but beside each other.
PAR
...and I will still keep them separated here in
Humlekärr for a while,
since the good chances increase if you
"rush slowly " ! |

Update ... |
Yesterday it was so nice and warm that I could take the parrots
out to the garden .
And Albinas mum [and our mutual friend] came to visit.
Albina was very glad to see her and leaned her head down for a
nice scratch from her mum !

JACKO'S FRIEND: BACKGROUND
Albina is a female, but for many years they thought she was
a male and called her Albin. However, one day she surprised her
family with an egg ~so they understood it was a 'she' bird, and
then named her Albina instead.
But she still calls herself Albin !
When her mum showed up yesterday Albina called out: Hej Albin!
(Hi Albin!). And Jacko says, every morning when he wakes up: "Hej
Jacko!"
They can be quite funny sometimes
