3.   To prevent the unnecessary breeding and reduce the number of unwanted dogs being born and often disposed of to doubtful sources. The Trust vigorously supports a policy of spaying on veterinary advice.

4.   To prevent the risk and spread of disease. All dogs coming into our care are fully inoculated;

5.   To report all cases of known cruelty and investigate where necessary;

6.   To campaign for the abolition of live animals being used for the purpose of medical research;

7.   Not to put any animal to sleep unless certified to be incurably ill or unmanageably aggressive. This will then be done by the Trust's veterinary surgeon, humanely and painlessly.

8.   The Charity aspires to obtaining and running a further three  Rescue Centres.
