Ivy Leaf ~for march 2008...

Our memoirs from home ...

March 2008

Welcome to the Spring !

  ...and the Green Man

This year we decided to do something about THE SHED

Last year was the year of THE FLOODS and whilst thankful our house was not flooded - the old shed was!  Whilst apparently the frogs liked it the shed became lop sided and the floor boards were rotted and all the things inside rusty - so we decided it had to go and we would have more space for plants

[the frogs love being behind the plant pots so no problem there!]

and here is the space

created for use ...

to be called

THE BARK-AREA!

but having planned to develop the garden in this area we awoke a few mornings later

 to this !

Chez inspected it gingerly on his walk

and was not amused ...

and whilst pretty ...

was definitely NOT on The Agenda !!!

but the spring continued despite the cold and the forsythia was not put off at all

Nothing for it says Chez

just wait by the fire until the horrid stuff has gone !!!

and in the meantime the Mother in Law's Tongue decided to flower on the window-sill !

Pretty soon all was well again in the Garden -

and Chez ventured out to see who was there

Yes,

Froggy was still here

and enjoying the fact

that the Spring was properly underway again

So here goes ...

Garden Plan full steam ahead and the Spring is now officially here!!!
