Well, we presently have had temperatures down to -4 and -5 in
the mornings and it has done a great deal of damage to the more
tender plants in the garden. This has only happened once before
in the last 10 years we have lived here.....
All we
can do is cut back and hope that when spring comes there will be
new growth and things recover. Finding plants which can take
the very very hot summers and the occasional bad night of frost
is always difficult and you have to accept that sometimes you
have to replant.

Now at last
the weather is good here in Spain, so I thought I would share a
few photos I have just taken of my garden.
As you are having some cooler weather thought it would uplift
