Ghosts and Ghouls

I have seen them again, not often mind you, but enough to make me write in to let you all know they are still around.

Yes they are still around!

I am doing my best to catch one – if for no other reason than to prove to the ‘HUMANS’ that I do not imagine things.

I have stalked the things as they move up the wall and onto the ceiling, then across the ceiling, and down a different wall.

Then I pounce, eyes boggling, teeth snapping at the air.  So far I have not managed to catch one.  I am not a very good catcher at the best of times – as an example the only rabbit I ever managed had Myxomatosis.

The onlookers of course can’t see the things, but Humans never can see much at all anyway unless you stick it up their noses.

Well I am undaunted, I know there are ghosts moving about unchecked in this living room and I mean to see them off and sharpish too.

Have any of you lot seen them in your houses?  Write in and let us all hear about it.  Together we can sort it!

YOU ASK – O’ WISE ONE ANSWERS

Joey (Jack-Russell) wrote:

Q: My owner has bought me a contraption allegedly designed to stop me pulling on the lead.  I do not like it and I am very unhappy.  What do you think?

O’Wise-one wrote:

A: Hello Joey.  I think Joey is a name better suited to a parrot, don’t you?  Poor you! I hope I have helped.

On a serious note though, I think the inventors out there in our midst should get to the drawing board and design a contraption that would make humans go faster.

Nothing better than a compromise is there?

FOOD REVIEW:

We have carried out a survey over the recent holiday period and found the staggering truth that was previously unknown:  8 out of 10 dogs prefer roast-beef or Turkey to tinned dog food.

Further studies show that most dogs also prefer something old and mouldy dropped to the ground by a passing bird than whatever is in their dish.

Some dogs have really scraped the bottom of the barrel by admitting to enjoying the odd bit of ‘dead for two weeks Rabbit’ (that type of thing is only for the real wolves amongst us however – not myself).

These findings have been passed to various local pet-food chains and we can only hope that it will not have been a complete waste of time – roll on the day they mass produce a decent doggy diet that we will enjoy.

ABOUT ME:

I have gotten the bug & this web stuff on the head.

It keeps me focused, as do my specs.

I actually bought my specs off the web.

I found a web-site called Google-eyes where you can order any style you want on-line (you should try it yourself) get the Humans to pay.

Good old humans – they have some uses after all.

If any dogs out there wish to send in their 'woofs'n'growls'

please address them to ladymuck@ivyvillacompany.com

who will put them on her Oh Wise one part of this Dog Blog
