In June 2007 we embarked on a

Baltic Cruise -

starting at home ... and checking all is safe!
and via train to Newcastle upon Tyne
	will we catch our train? - will we make the connection? ... worry worry worry !!!

Embarkation at last !!!
... and sailing down the Tyne into the unknown!

AS AWAY WE SAIL ON OUR BALTIC SPLENDOUR CRUISE  ...

Our first port of call was

DENMARK where where we disembarked

at Kalundborg  for a pre planned trip to Copenhagen

 

Next we arrived at

SWEDEN where we had arranged to meet our friends Linda and Lars when we arrived in Stockholm

 

Leaving Sweden, through the beautiful Archipelago we travelled on to

FINLAND and visited Helsinki - AND

                    AINOLA - the home of SIBELIUS

 

On we went - on and on to

 

RUSSIA and St. Petersburg -  enjoying both

                            The BALLET and ONBOARD fun

 

Then we travelled across to ESTONIA - Tallin

 

this was followed by a longer sea voyage and then on to

GERMANY  -  Warnemunde / [or Berlin]

 

Finally, and again we travelled back to

DENMARK and this time Aarhus

 

At last we travelled to the

UK and Newcastle upon Tyne to be  back

                     HOME IN THE UK  !
