As you can see it was a
dismal day on the 16th
...and the warm Saga Ruby
looked very comforting |
| |
 |
...you know who decided to do the
laundry instead of
venturing ashore
which turned out to be very
wise in the event |
| |
 |

Although this did not look very
tempting,
Sue pressed on across from the
docks towards
the town,taking
photos
despite getting soaked !!! |
|
|
 |
 |
|
seeing picturesque alleyways and
churches after all... |
 |
 |
|
determined to get some photo shots of
every place - and not to be beaten by the weather!! |
|
|
|
 |
Eventually the rain became too much
of a burden ...
but Sue remembered a Craft Tent
on the dockside ... full of
craftware |

..and
that proved much more interesting,
drier
and friendlier ...
This
is Alice Rasmussen
of
Metalflet
who
created lots of lovely handicrafts,
including a lovely green beaded metallic cross
which
is now hanging on our wall at home ... a lovely souvenir of
our
second visit to Denmark

Back on board we spent a wet
afternoon watching other shipping -

including the biggest commercial ship
in the world |

|
|
which everyone was pointing out as we
sailed away towards home again |
